Statutory Right to Cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have a statutory 14-day right to cancel purchases of digital content.

However, when you purchase an audit from AuditDriven, the report is generated and delivered immediately upon payment. By completing checkout, you expressly consent to the service beginning immediately and acknowledge that you lose the right to cancel once the report has been generated.

This is in line with Regulation 37(1) — supply of digital content which has begun with the consumer's express prior consent and acknowledgement.

Discretionary Refunds

Despite the above, we want every customer to feel the audit was worth paying for. We will issue a full discretionary refund in these circumstances:

  • The report was not generated or delivered due to a technical failure on our side
  • The report contains materially incorrect UK-law references (not estimates or probability ranges)
  • You were double-charged
  • You purchased by genuine mistake within the last 24 hours AND have not yet opened the report link

Non-Refundable Circumstances

We will not refund in these cases:

  • You disagree with the report's findings (you purchased an audit, not a guarantee of a specific outcome)
  • HMRC, a tribunal, your employer, or your landlord takes a different view than our audit
  • You find a cheaper or free alternative after purchase
  • You provided inaccurate intake data
  • You changed your mind after reading the report

How to Request a Refund

Email support@auditdriven.com within 30 days of purchase with:

  • Your order ID (from the confirmation email)
  • The email address used for purchase
  • A brief description of the issue

We respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed via Stripe and take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.

Chargebacks

Please contact us before raising a Stripe or card-issuer chargeback. Chargebacks disputed in our favour may result in a permanent ban from AuditDriven services.
